Janet M Andersen Miller

Janet Miller age 71 of Spring Hill, FL. died on December 25, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A resident of Spring Hill since 1986 coming from Cooperstown, NY. where she lived for 5 years, originally coming from Queens, NY. where she was born on March 9, 1944, to the late Erling and Charlotte (Otto) Andersen. Janet work for 8 years for the Argus Research Company, and then she co-owned and operated a Tour Boat company with her husband Richard. The boat, “Chief Uncas”, took guided tour around Lake Otsego, Cooperstown, NY, viewing the local landmarks. Janet was Lutheran by faith. Janet was preceded in death by her parents. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Richard Miller, of Spring Hill, Fl. son, Christopher (Christine) Miller, of Tampa, FL. son Gary Collins of Tampa, FL. son Rick (Laura) Miller of Pittsburgh, PA. daughter Karen Varner of Spring Hill, FL. son-in-law Brandon Varner of Spring Hill, FL. son Glen Miller of Spring Hill, FL. 6 grandchildren, sisters; Pat Shannon of Waterbury, CT. Ruth (John)Quinn of Miller Place, NY. and Lorie (Matt) Wasilefsky of Phoenix, AR. As well as several nieces and nephews. Janet’s family and friends will gather at the Turner Funeral Homes Spring Hill Drive Chapel, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, from 3-4 pm. Per Janet’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the local hospice organization in Janet’s memory.
