Jean Diane Cormier, age 75, of Brooksville, Florida died on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family and aided by HPH Hospice. A 13 year resident of Brooksville, coming from Buzzard Bay, MA. Jean was born on May 27, 1941 to the late Thomas & Florence (Hiesen) Fairbrother, of Medway, MA. in Milford, MA. Jean was the oldest of 7 children, was a 1962 graduate of Shepard Gill Nursing School, in Boston, MA. and for many years she continued her education and obtained other credits as well. Jean was the owner for 25 years of the V.O.I.C E (Valley Oasis in Child Education) in the greater Boston area and she spent her entire life giving, and taking care of others. Jean was an incredibly talented seamstress, as well as knitting and crocheting. Jean was well known for making family members wedding dresses, baby christening gowns, blankets and hats. Jean was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother, C. William Fairbrother. Jean is survived by her remaining siblings; Thomas Fairbrother, Suzanne Lotterhos, Linda Matondi, Swarn Khalsa, and Carol Kakowski. Jean will be greatly missed by her husband of 33 years, Paul D Cormier, of Brooksville, FL. and by her children, James Chase, Brian Chase, Debora Dunton, Robin Divitorio, and Tonya Cormier, and her 11 grandchildren; Pamela Dunton, Daniel Dunton, Jack Chase, Carly Chase, Brian Chase, Hannah Chase, Harrison Chase, Emma Gayle Chase, Christopher Cormier, Marcus Divitorio and Evan Divitorio. Turner Funeral Homes is entrusted to complete the final care and cremation. Family Private Services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
