He was born in Butler, PA on January 13, 1941.
Jere graduated from West High and attended night classes from PV Community College.
He was married to Betsy Hock on January 15, 1966.
Jere had a career in Photography for GE/Honeywell Navy.
He was a member of Spring Hill Camera Club and a passion for sailing.
He was survived by his wife Besty of 57 years.
His son Brain Hock and daughter-in-law Jeannemarie Hock.
He preceded in death by his parents, sister and son.
