Joan A. Watson, age 82 of Spring Hill, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 under the care of HPH Hospice Care Center, Brooksville, FL. Born in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Alice Emery. Prior to her retirement she was a school bus driver in New York and Hernando County. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill, FL. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Renee, wife of Patrick Rodgers of Spring Hill, FL and sons: Colin Watson and his wife Lorraine of Ridge, NY; Keith Watson and his wife Erika, Kenneth Watson and his wife Robin, Deane Watson all of Rocky Point, NY. She has 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is the last of her immediate family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Turner Funeral Home, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, July 11 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill, FL followed by interment at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, Brooksville, FL.
