John Harold Doty

John received his high school diploma from Pompton Lakes High School in New Jersey. Throughout his life, he carried himself with a steady faith and a deep devotion to those around him—qualities that made him truly beloved by family and friends alike.

John worked in maintenance for the City of Ashland in Ashland, Wisconsin, offering dependable service and practical care in the work he did each day.

On July 3, 1969, John married Janice Marie Doty. Together they built a family that remained at the center of his life. John was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Amorette Doty; His brothers David, Barry and Ken and his Daughter in law Dana Doty.He is survived by his children, John Harold Doty Jr.(Kathy) and Jason Earol Doty; his grandchildren, Caleb Doty, Alexa Doty, Seth Doty, Nyaja Doty, and Maryah Doty; and his great-grandson, Sawyer. He is also survived by his brothers, Bryan Doty and Mark Doty; his sisters-in-law, Darlene Doty, Janet Doty, and Cindy Doty; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks are extended to friends Jack and Shawn and Dana and Phil.

John found genuine joy in hunting, fishing, and the simple, meaningful gift of time spent with family and friends. His faithful presence and the love he gave so freely will be remembered with gratitude and enduring respect.
