John Burton Mott III, 67 of St Petersburg, passed away on April 7, 2016 in Spring Hill. John was born in Tampa, Florida to John Burton Mott Jr and Ruth Lee Dungee on February 1, 1949. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army. John is preceded in death by his parents and his aunt Helen Mott of Bartow, Fl. John is survived by: Wife, Leslie Gore of Spring Hill, Fl; Sisters: Renee Berg of Safety Harbor, Fl, Vicki Bellino of Largo, Fl, and Suzanne Morrow of Niceville, Fl; Brothers: Tom Mott of Rochester Hills, Mi and Michael Mott of St Petersburg, Fl; Daughter, Alicia Scroggins of Ridge Manor, Fl. The family of John wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the many VA doctors and nurses and especially to the Hernando Hospice organization that helped ease his passing from this world to the next. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to a hospice organization. We will gather in celebration of John’s life at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 16, 2016.
