John “Buck” Perkey, 86, died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at HPH Hospice, Brooksville, FL. He was born on September 9, 1928 and raised in Premier, WV, moved to Maryland and worked in Washington, DC. Upon retirement, he moved to Spring Hill, FL where he lived with his wife of sixty years, Pauline. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Esma Perkey and sister Norma McCarthy. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Perkey of Spring Hill, FL, daughters Susan Wood of Spring Hill, FL and Cathy Sparenberg of Tampa, FL, sisters Marge Talley of Port Richey, FL and Joy Yowell of Wesley Chapel, FL, and brother Nelson Perkey of St. Petersburg, FL. He had three granddaughters and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, Spring Hill, FL on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.
