John Robert Rossi

John Robert Rossi, 67, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on September 15, 2026. Born in Denville, New Jersey, on February 12, 1959, John grew into a man who showed his love in steady, practical ways—through loyalty, showing up, and doing the work that needed doing.

He graduated from Morris Knolls High School and went on to build a career in welding, a trade that suited him: hands-on, honest, and demanding. John’s hard work wasn’t something he announced—it was something you could count on, the kind that quietly holds a life and a family together.

On November 10, 1984, John married Maureen Rossi. He was devoted to his wife and to the people he called his own, and he carried that devotion into everyday life—especially in the time he spent with family and friends. And when it came to the Pittsburgh Steelers, John’s loyalty was not up for debate; it was simply part of the deal.

John is survived by his wife, Maureen. He is also survived by his children, Phillip (Ashley) Rossi and Meghan (Ian) Starratt; his grandchildren, Teagan, Harper, and Nolan Rossi, along with Kendall Starratt; his siblings, Mary Alice Iverson, Nancy Westerman (Kurt), and Paul Rossi; and his in-laws, Earl Landgraff (Peggy), Joanne Landgraff (Tom), and Mary Jane Stoll (Steve).

John will be remembered with laughter, love, and deep gratitude—for the life he built, the work he put in, and the unwavering way he stood by the people who mattered most.
