Johnathan D Carbucia

Known lovingly as Jon-Jon, he was a devoted son, family member, and friend whose smile, laughter, and kind heart touched everyone he met. He had a lifelong love for superheroes- especially Spider-Man- and admired what it meant to be a hero. In the end, he became one himself by giving the gift of life to others, bringing hope and comfort to five families.

Jon-Jon found joy in life's simple pleasures: playing video games, enjoying McDonald's, and never turning down a plate of rice, beans, and chicken. His autism was an important part of who he was, and through it he taught those around him to see the world with honesty, joy, and unconditional love. He cherished his family and made sure everyone had a place in his world, even creating individual PlayStation and Xbox profiles for everyone.

He also found a second family in Mrs. J, her sons, and their loved ones, who welcomed him with open arms and became a cherished part of his life.

If you knew Jon-Jon, you knew he loved to laugh. His unforgettable catchphrases, "Tryna be slick!" and "That bad word!", could make anyone smile, and his contagious laughter filled every room. He is survived by his loving parents, Diana and George; his siblings, Hannah, Erika & large extended families, The Johnsons and The Maldonado's; and many dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Though his passing was sudden and heartbreaking, Jon-Jon's love, laughter, kindness, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Today, we celebrate a true superhero- not because he wore a cape, but because of the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held at Turner Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609, US, on August 1, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on August 1, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
