Greaves, Joseph Gerald 81 of Spring Hill died Tuesday February 9, 2021. He was born on December 23, 1939 in Manhattan, New York. He moved to Florida in 2012. Joseph served in the US Army during Vietnam. Joseph was a retired Postal Carrier with the United States Postal Service. Joseph enjoyed bowling, which he was on a league in Virginia for many years. He loved his sports, from the Yankees to the Cowboys to Elvis. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Josiah and Mary Greaves, sister Gladys Kaas. Joseph is survived by three daughters, Catherine Spurgeon (Mark) of Brooksville, FL, Geraldine Greaves of New Jersey, Jennifer Mure (Steve) of Wayne, New Jersey and one son Joseph P Greaves (Gigi) of Mount Dora, FL. and 13 grandchildren Matthew, Cystal, Cayla, Emily, Julian, William, Maria, Isabella, Andres, Damien, Lilith and Ivan.
Memorial service will be held at a later date at Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, Virginia where Joseph will be with his mother.
