Life time member Local 580- Iron Workers

He was born in the Bronx, NY to Thomas and Mary (Kelly) Shanley who predeceased him.

He was a graduate of Yorktown Heights High School and worked as an Iron Worker for 43 years. He served in the United States Marine Corp, and was a proud Veteran.

He married Annette (Kelley) Shanley on September 28, 2002. They retired together, and moved to Florida to enjoy their retirement.

He is survived by three daughters: Corine Duby (Tiger), Holly Beckett, and Cas Shanley of Tucson, AZ. Three grandchildren, Christine, Coral and RJ, all of Tucson, AZ. Two great- grandchildren, Claire and Ashlynn also of Tucson, AZ., also his loving niece Lauren Marie Jernigan of Florida and Sister- in-law Maureen Jernigan of Florida.

He was also predeceased by his sister Beverly Shanley and his daughter Tricia Nelson.

Joe will be missed by so many. Always the life of a party with the best sense of humor. His smile lit up the room.

Interment will be at Bushnell, Florida Military Cemetery at a later date.
