Kenneth Hilarion Mayette

Kenny, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on June 5, 1975, in Fort Gordon, Georgia to Kenneth and Sherry Mayette. The Mayette family was an Army family through and through as Ken Mayette held posts all over the U.S. and overseas. Kenny spent time as a little boy in Okinawa. Watching his father's decorated career had such an impact on Kenny that he too joined the Army. Kenny served in Germany, Haiti, and Cuba in addition to numerous bases in the U.S. He was discharged from the Army as a specialist E4.

Kenny then attended USF studying Architecture. He graduated with a B.S. and master's in architecture. Kenny loved his work and especially, Goodwyn Mills Cawood.

Living in Germany, Kenny fell in love with German food and beer after being stationed in Germany. Kenny was a phenomenal German food cook. His specialties were spätzle, schnitzel, almond butter cookies, and his black forest German cake. His favorite birthday celebration was a family meal at Dunderbak's. Kenny was an avid wood worker. Kenny and Megan loved canoeing in Michigan. Kenny was an avid family gamer and loved playing games with Megan and Aiden.

Kenny is survived by his wife and son, Megan and Aiden Mayette. His mother-in-law, Teresa Eilers. His sister-in-law Liz Dickie.

His father and mother, Ken and Sherry Mayette. His sister and newphew, Michelle and Landon Mayette. Uncle Tippy and Aunt Donna Woodin, their daughters, Deanna (James) Campbell, Stacey (Anthony) Pinto. And many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kenny was loved by so many forever and always.
