Leland Nathan Bechtol

August 2, 1955October 25, 2020

Leland (Lee) Bechtol was a beloved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, nephew, and friend. If you were lucky enough to have known him, consider yourself blessed. In the words of a family member Lee was larger than life in every way. He had an unmistakable giggle, crooked grin, an incredible sense of humor, and a perspective on things that made you look at life in a truly beautiful and different way. He could make you laugh harder than anyone you ever met. Play harder than you ever knew you could. Love better than you ever dreamed. He lived everyday with no regrets.

I truly enjoyed working with Lee, but I enjoyed being his friend way more. He and I had the conversation once and we both agreed that we didn't have a ton of friends but the ones we had we held dear. I always thought I'd just see him again and allowed life to get in the way. Willy, our deepest condolences...I miss him already.

So saddened to hear of the sudden loss of your beloved Lee, Willy. I only knew the both of you for a very short time through Lorie & Roger. Words seem helpless at this time and having lost my own husband suddenly, I know the numbness that it brings. I can only say that it does get better with time and the best thing for you is to keep busy and look to your friends who will be reaching out to you and helping you through this period of grief. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. Please accept our sincere condolences. May Lee, RIP.
