I am so heartbroken. I met Lee back in the 70s when we both worked at Chase Manhattan Bank in NYC. I was a kid back then and Lee was like an older sister who guided (and often misguided!) me but we had some grand times. Of course, those were the days when co-workers were a close knit family. They looked out for and supported each other. Didn’t matter what one’s title or position was or what color, religion, or nationality one was. It was a beautiful mosaic. Lee was one of the kindest and strongest women I have known. She was straightforward, honest, and funny. Whether it was a Friday night of adult beverages at Plaza One or the TeePee, a celebration, or any get together, you knew Lee would be at the center of the fun. Lee moved to Florida years ago right before her beloved Bobby passed away. He was the love of her life and now, G-d willing, they have been reunited. Over the past few years she and I would speak about once or twice a year. Prior to that when she would fly into AC for a few days, Allan and I would meet her there. Lee, I love you and will miss you. You were one hell of a lady and had one hell of a ride. Thank you, my friend, for taking me along.
