

Lorna was born on December 12, 1945, to Harold and Jean (Petrzelka) Leffingwell in Dover, New Jersey. She grew up and attended school in New Jersey where she studied cosmetology and graduated from Morris Hills High School, and then began a career as a hairdresser.
Later, in 1983, Lorna moved to Florida and was a proud member of Food and Nutrition Services for Pasco County Schools for twenty-three years, including several as a Food and Nutrition Manager.
Lorna is survived by her husband of 48 years, Walter Philhower; children Tom Neesham (Kathryn), Tina Neumann (Richard), and Tracy Bonnett (David). She was also a loving and doting grandmother to seven grandchildren, Johnny, Morgan, Madison, Megan, Ella, Lance, and Grace; and three great-grandchildren, Peyson, Rowyn and Warren. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends.
She was one of seven children. Her surviving siblings include Lyn Greenfield (Dwain), Joyce Gralnick (the late Paul), Kimberly Weaver (the late Victor), and Jack Leffingwell.
Lorna was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Jean Leffingwell and her brothers Robert Leffingwell and Bruce Leffingwell.
Funeral arrangements are being conducted by Turner Funeral Home, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Florida. There will be a viewing on Monday, October 10th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm followed by a service at 2:00pm. Lorna will be missed by all who knew and loved her, and your thoughts and prayers are welcome and appreciated.
