Maria was born on August 12, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Alberto and Cecilia Cruz. Maria married Robert Yarzab in Brooklyn, NY on April 11, 1970. Robert survives. Maria is also survived by her 3 daughters: Jaime Keating, Kelly Murphy, and Katie Woytisek.
Maria worked at Morgan Guarantee and Trust bank in New York City for many years before working at various schools in Long Island, NY in food service. She moved to Spring Hill, FL in 1996 and continued working in food service in Hernando County schools. Maria loved jewelry and always looked her best. Her favorite color was purple, and Gardenia was her favorite flower. Maria will be remembered for her warmth, kindness and devotion to family.
