She was a devoted mother, a source of endless strength, and the cherished heart of our family.
Marie was born on May 8, 1954 in Manhattan, New York and was known for her warm hospitality, generous spirit and quick laughter.
She loved spending time with her friends, going on outings for lunch, playing cards and Bingo and most of all spending time with her family. Marie Elaina left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met through her kindness and grace.
Maria Elaina is survived by her children: two sons, Anthony Robert Musumeci and his wife, Mae Florence Musumeci and Joseph Michael Musumeci and his wife, Terri D. Musumeci.
Maria Elaina is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Petrillo and Rosemarie Tolda; brother, Joseph Petrillo; and her first husband, Joseph Charles Musumeci.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
