Marie Antoinette ‘Toni’ Whitman, 62, of Brooksville, Florida passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021. She was born in Tampa, Florida to Albin and Mabel Whitman. She was the owner and operator of RFH Concrete Inc. and Ron Jon’s Raceway. Toni loved cooking and operated the concession stand at the raceway. Family was everything to her; she would say, “I love my fam-i-ly”. She was also a numbers person; everyone’s birthday was memorized and celebrated. Her three grandchildren Alyssa Jade, Mylee Reese and Angel Rose were her world. Thirsty Thursday Tradition with Grandpa and Grandma was something they did weekly as a family. Toni’s astrological sign was Cancer … she would say “hard on the outside; sweet, juicy meat in the middle”, no truer words could be spoken.
Her parents, two sisters Donna Marie and Sonya Whitman, and niece Ann Marie Evans preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving partner of 35 years Ronald DeLancey; daughter Cheryl ‘Nicole’ Roberts and son-in-law Michael; son Joshua DeLancey and daughter-in-law Ashley ‘Nicole’; sisters Cheryl Mucciolo, Deborah Mateo and Jacqueline Evans; nieces Florinda Hancock, Michelle and Alicia Mucciolo, and Stephanie Lane; nephews James Whitman, Jonathan Evans, and David Mateo (DJ); grandnephews Michael Fusco and Nicholas Ayello, and Gavin Nelson; grandnieces Laura DiMaio, Cherylann Mucciolo, Aliya Leary, and Hailey Nelson; and grandchildren Alyssa Wilson and Mylee and Angel Roberts in addition to many neighborhood kids that she raised and too many family/friends to count.
Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 14 at 6PM located at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill.
Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Foundation and/or Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
