Melissa Hughes Bell, born on October 2, 1971, passed away on January 25, 2025, after her fight with leukemia, with her children by her side. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family, friends, and her passion for animals.
Melissa was predeceased by her husband, Michael Bell; her mother, Stephanie Janosko; and her father, Clifford Hughes. She is survived by her loving children, Kevin Bell and Kylie Bell; her precious granddaughter, Karter Grace Bell-Diaz; her sister, Lori Hughes Grover; her stepbrother, Jason Janosko; her stepfather, Richard Janosko; as well as her aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Melissa was known for her radiant smile and unwavering love for animals. She turned her passion into reality by opening a dog grooming business in Florida, fulfilling her lifelong dream. Her family, friends, and devoted clients will always remember her warmth, talent, and dedication.
She will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
A celebration of Melissa’s life will be held Sunday, February 9th at 12 Noon
