Michael served in the US Army and later dedicated himself to public service through a career in law enforcement with the Hernando County Sheriff’s department. Through these years of duty and commitment, he was, above all, beloved—held close in the hearts of those who knew him and valued for the steady presence he brought to the lives around him.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Niles and Eunice Lane; his granddaughter, Jamie; and his last wife, Delma.
Michael is survived by his children, Cheryl Warner, Jeffery Lane, and Christopher Lane; his stepdaughter, Aimee Cabral; and numerous grandchildren.
