

Ralph William Scott, 93 of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on December 5, 2019. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years Jean Ruth, his parents William and Naomi Scott, his brother Robert Scott, and son-in-law Timothy Johnson. He is survived by his children, Karen Scott, Diana Scott, Deborah Johnson, and Jeffrey Scott (wife Deborah and children Karl and Amy), and sister-in-law Barbara Scott (nephews and niece Wesley, Wayne, Paul and Lois Griffin).
Ralph was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 13, 1926 and graduated from West High School in Cleveland, Ohio and Bowling Green State University (with a degree in Accounting). He served in the Navy during World War II and was stationed at Banana River Air Station in Florida. He spent over 35 years working in several different companies.
Ralph sang in church choirs for over 55 years, most recently at Grace Presbyterian Church in Spring Hill, Florida. He volunteered at Oak Hill Hospital for over 25 years. He was a member of Brotherhood Masonic Lodge in Brooksville, Florida, Hernando Shrine Club in Brooksville, Florida and Egypt Temple Shrine in Tampa, Florida.
Ralph was well liked and will be missed by all who knew him.
There will be a memorial service 11AM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Grace Presbyterian Church followed by a Masonic service also at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would recommend donations in Ralph Scott’s memory to either Grace Presbyterian Church Choir Fund (8375 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34608) or the Shriners Hospital for Children of Tampa (Shriners Healthcare for Children — Florida, 12502 USF Pine Drive, Tampa, FL 33612).
