

Rita Bradford-Carlson, 93, of Spring Hill, Florida passed Wednesday, August 10, 2016. She was born in New Brunswick, Canada to Daniel and Angelina Robichaud. She was 1 of 12 siblings. When Rita was 16 years old, she moved to Montreal and started working for a doctor. Soon after that she joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and met her husband Wilbur Bruce Bradford and became a US. Citizen and began her family. She was a medic nurse in WWII, strong supporter of the Republican Party and her favorite Presidents were Truman and Regan. Her favorite song is “You are my Sunshine by Jimmie Davis. Rita’s favorite color was purple/lilac. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing softball and loved animals. She was of the Catholic faith and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parent Daniel and Angelina Robichaud. Her husband Wilbur Bruce Bradford and granddaughter Angela Rose Olavarria.
She is survived by her daughters Margaret Gail Bradford-Dorval; Ethel Willivine Bradford-Cooley; grandchildren; Lisa Marie Migliara; Michael Dorval; great grandchildren Bernard Colletti; Krystal Migliara-Weiner; Vincent Colletti; Michael Dorval; Dominic Dorval; great great-grandchildren Hailie Migliara; Breanna Colletti; Colby Weiner; Angela Colletti and Sophia Colletti.
Memorial service will be 11AM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Turner Funeral Home 14360 Spring Hill Dr., Spring Hill, Florida 34609. A gathering will follow at Faith Community Church 16902 Shady Hills, Spring Hill, Florida 34610. 727-857-1883.
