Robert Leard Webster

Robert Leard Webster, 82 of Spring Hill, Florida entered into rest on March 8, 2024 with his family by his side. Robert was born in New York, New York on March 27, 1941 to late Robert C. and Gertrude (Leard) Webster.

Robert was married to his loving wife, Diane M. Webster for forty-six years.

He retired with twenty years of military service, eight years in the Navy, where he received a final top SECRET NAVSECGRU CRYPTOGRAPHIC, and serviced in the Vietnam War, and twelve years in the Air Force, in which he earned numerous medals: AF Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal W/20LC, Armed Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal (Navy), AF Longevity Service Ribbon W/# Devices, National Defense Service Medal, AF Overseas Service Short Tour Ribbon, Air Force Commendation Medal.

His next career was with Microtel, were he was a Regional Manager.

Robert was a member of the V.F.W, and had a passion for fishing, golfing, and crossword puzzles. He was also a Licensed Amateur Ham Radio Operator.

Robert is survived by his three sons, Bradley Morgan (Nancy) Henley, Russell William Henley, both from Spring Hill, Robert C. (Meghan) Webster II, of Belleair Shores, Two daughters, Nancy Ann (Wayne) Smith, of Spring Hill, and Laura Diane (Billy) Medley, of Kentucky.

One sister, Joan Hartman, of Illinois.

Six grandchildren, Jeremy Wayne (Chrissy) Smith, Jonathan Lee (Patty) Smith, Parker N. Webster, Saylor E. Webster, Reagan C. Webster, and Fallon M. Webster.

A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 8:00 A.M., March 15, 2024 at Turner Funeral Home, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Florida.

Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
