He was married to Judith Caroline Round on September 2, 1961.
Roger worked as a civil engineer for Edwards and Kelcey.
He was a member of Mariner Methodist Church and had a passion for sports, especially golf and football. He loved his Bucs.
He was predeceased by his wife Judith Jones, son Scott Allen Jones, and brother-in-law Robert Thorsell.
He was survived by his daughter Terri Jones Eunson, son-in-law Scott Eunson and grandson Conor Alexander Eunson, his sisters Carolyn Castagna and brother-in law Pat Castagna, Regis Thorsell, Vicki Costello.
