Ruth Marie Mottram

She was born May 6, 1930, in Boston, MA, to the late Albert L. Crane and Harriet E. (Pitzold) Crane. Ruth graduated from Winthrop High School in 1948.

She was married to Robert J. Guarente from 1949 to 1968 until his passing. She found love again and married Leo A. Mottram, Sr. She was a beloved member of her community, Tewksbury, MA, until she relocated to Brooksville, FL, in 1986. Life changes, in 2015, brought her to her family in Bradenton, FL.

Her passions include spending time with her family, board and card games, reading, watching golf, and food...especially cookies. She will be remembered for her unrivaled strength, kindness, love and quick wit.

Ruth is predeceased by her husband, Leo A. Mottram, Sr. and a grandchild. She is survived by her four daughters, Janet Chandonnet, Mobile, AL; Joanne Dowd, Reading, MA; Leann Moore, Lowell, MA; and Kathy Zimmerman, Bradenton, FL, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A viewing ceremony will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, Spring Hill, FL. The grave side service will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL
