Santo Delgado

DELGADO, Santo, age 77 of Beverly Hills, FL passed away on January 10th, 2018 in Spring Hill, FL. Santo was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon Delgado and Vincenta Fonseca. He moved to Manhattan, New York at the age of 19. He worked for the New York Telephone Company before moving down to Spring Hill, FL in the 1980’s. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Spring Hill. He will be greatly missed, but remembered as a jovial and selfless man who loved to help others. Santo is preceded in death by his birth parents; brother, Carmelo Delgado and adoptive father, Corloyd Thomas. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Delgado; children, Elena Valez, Walesca Brown, Anthony Delgado, James Delgado, Bryan Reed, Amy Pruett, Cristina Littlejohn; siblings, Rosa Ortiz, Heliodora Delgado, Ramon Delgado, Jenny Wagoner, Karen Coleman, Sharon Thomas; adoptive mother, Gloria Thomas. Santo is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews. A Gathering of Friends and Family will begin at 2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill, FL on Sunday, January 14th. A Memorial Service will follow at 3 p.m. at Tuner Funeral Home. The Repass will follow services at The Seventh Day Adventist Church of Spring Hill.
