Sheila May Azzopardi

Sheila May Azzopardi, age 81, of Brooksville, Florida died at the Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Sheila was born in Ipswich, England on August 20, 1935, to the late Ernest & Beatrice (Crane) Good. Sheila married her G.I. sweetheart, Sirol, in 1953 in Ipswich, England, and she came to America the next year in 1954, and later became a naturalized US Citizen. Sheila was an avid reader of history and geography, and her favorite activity was watching and challenging the game show Jeopardy, and she was very good at it. Sheila also enjoyed flowers gardening and cooking. Sheila was Christian in faith. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Ernest Good and sister-in-law, Margaret Good. Sheila is lovingly survived by her husband Sirol Azzopardi, of Brooksville, FL, son, John Azzopardi, of Gainesville, FL, daughter, Carol Prew, of Inkster, MI, son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Brenda Azzopardi, of Toledo, OH. Sheila will be greatly missed by her 3 grandsons; Andy Prew and Daniel Prew, both of Inkster, MI, and Steven Azzopardi, of Toledo OH, and by her two great grandchildren; Olivia and Zack. Sheila’s family and friends will gather at the Turner Funeral Home, 14360 spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL 34609, on Monday, August 21, 2017, from 6–8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at 7pm and Reverend Chet Okopski will officiate. In lieu of flowers, funeral masses may be offered in Sheila’s memory.
