Stacey Michele (Heimall) Schubert

Stacey Michele (Heimall) Schubert, 54, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on July 7th, 2023. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family following a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born in Summitt, New Jersey on December 29th, 1968. She was the second daughter of Barry and Barbara Heimall and sister to Lisa Heimall Zuransky. She was raised in Middlesex County and graduated from Sayerville War Memorial High School in 1986. She was married to Greg Schubert on September 4th, 1994, and was the proud mother of two sons, Matthew, 24, and Ryan, 21. Stacey and her family moved to Florida in 2008.

Stacey was diagnosed with Sarcoma in 2014. She remained strong, and bravely fought back for 9 years, remaining in good health and spirit for most of that time. Stacey never let her diagnosis stand in the way of doing what she loved, especially taking care of her family. Even in sickness, Stacey remained a caregiver and devoted mother. She enjoyed nothing more than having meaningful conversations with her sons and just being called “mom”. Her family was the center of her world, and her hobbies all revolved around her kids and her husband, as well as her dogs. Stacey always put them first and she was at her best when she could lend a hand to others. Although there were some tough days, Stacey always had a smile on her face and love in her heart.

A gathering for Stacey will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Turner Funeral Homes, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM.
