Thomas earned his high school diploma from Deer Park High School, a foundation that helped shape the steady judgment and quiet wisdom for which he would be known throughout his life.
He served his community through a 22-year career in law enforcement, a vocation that reflected a deep sense of responsibility and a measured, principled approach to the work he undertook. To those who knew him, Thomas was beloved—not only for what he did, but for the calm guidance and steadfast presence he brought to the lives around him.
Thomas was married to Marie Catania on March 25, 1965. Marie preceded him in death, and their enduring bond remained an important part of the family’s story.
Thomas was survived by his wife Amelia at the time of his passing.
He is survived by his children, Thomas, Dawn, Vincent, Andrea, and Melissa; his grandchildren, Franky, Karina, Giovanni, Antonio, Valentina, Murphy, Francesca, and Dominic; and his brother, Sal.
