William Thomas Meehan, Jr. “Billy” age 84, of Spring Hill, Florida died on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the Serenity House in Spring Hill. He was born to the Late William Thomas & Agnes (Holmes) Meehan, Sr. in Philadelphia, PA, on March 13, 1930. Billy came to Spring Hill in November of 1972 from Cheltenham, PA. He worked in the Inventory Control and Facility Maintenance Departments for Honeywell, in PA., and for the ABC Entertainment Corporation “Weeki Wachee Springs Park, in Spring Hill. Billy enjoyed watching sports on TV, mostly Baseball, Football, and NASCAR. Bill was raised in the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son William Thomas Meehan, III, of Spring Hill, FL., and his cousin Francis D. Meehan and his wife Geri, also of Spring Hill. At his own request, a private family service was held, and his remains will be placed next to his father and mother at the Florida Hills Memorial Gardens in Spring Hill.
