

William Theodore Olson, age 86, of Spring Hill, Florida, died at the Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center, in Brooksville, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Born on December 30, 1929, to the late Theodore & Hazel (Sneeberger) Olson in Racine, Wisconsin. William was a 25 year resident of Spring Hill, living for some 5 years in the Manor Pines Villas and his home. William started working at the age of 17 with the Johnson Wax company, and then entered the US Navy, and upon returning to home he again went to work for the Johnson Wax Company, and became a supervisor of the Research and Development Department during his 38 years of service. William also attended the Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. William was of the Lutheran faith, and a member of the Missouri Synod Congregation. William was a 32nd degree Mason, and a longtime member of the Shriners, Spring Hill Chapter and was very active in the organization and was Past President of the Spring Hill Shrine. William was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, James C. Olson. He is lovingly survived by his wife of 66 years, Sharon R. (Dahkle) Olson. They were married on August 18, 1950, at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, in Racine WI. Also survived by his daughters; Rondi (John) Peterson, of Wichita, KS, Laurie Olson, of Wichita, KS, and Cheryl Olson, of Union Grove, WI. And by his son, Jon C. Olson, of Spring Hill, FL. 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. William will be greatly missed by his 2 brothers, David Olson of Spring Hill, FL. and Donald Olson of Lancing, MI.
