William D. Wooten

William D. Wooten, age 83, of Spring Hill, Florida died on March 8, 2017 at the HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. William was a 29 year resident coming to Spring Hill in 1987 from Cleveland, TN. William was born in Wilson, NC, to the late Waddel & Ora Lee (Tolson) Wooten, on October 2, 1933. William served in the US Army during the Korean War. William served from 1962-1987 as a Minister of Christian Education in the Church of God. William and Elaine are longtime members of the Northcliffe Baptist Church, in Spring Hill, FL. William is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Robert Wooten and Ray Wooten. William is lovingly survived by his wife, Elaine H. (Hickman) Wooten of Spring Hill, FL. daughter, Alisha Mauck and grandsons, Corbin Mauck and Brayden Mauck, all of Herndon, VA, and as well by his nieces and nephews. William’s family and friend will gather at the Northcliffe Baptist Church, at 10515 Northcliffe Blvd. Spring Hill, FL 34608, on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 11-12 Noon. The Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon and Pastor Jerry Waugh will officiate. A Family private committal will follow services at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Northcliffe Baptist Church, www.northcliffe online.org/e-giving, or to the HPH Hospice Foundation.
