Alan Apfelbaum

Alan Apfelbaum, 61, of Montebello, NY, passed on Sunday August 27, 2017, surrounded by his family. Alan was born on October 29, 1955, in the Bronx, NY, to Manny and Phyllis Apfelbaum. He is survived by his daughter, Emily, and granddaughter, Audrey. Alan was strong, steadfast, and devoted as a father to Emily, Harris, and Audrey Apfelbaum, as a brother to Larry and Elaine Apfelbaum, and to many others as family and friends. He was a talented entrepreneur and the builder of numerous homes and professional buildings. He was an active member of the Jewish community, a diehard Bruce Springsteen fan, and a fixture at Rockland Boulders baseball games.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday August 30, 2017, 11:00 AM at Montebello Jewish Center 34 Montebello Road, Montebello, NY 10901. Interment will follow at Montebello Jewish Center Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY. The family will observe Shiva at the Apfelbaum residence in Montebello, NY, from 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 7:00PM - 9:00PM, with Minyanim at 7:30PM, from Wednesday thru Monday with the exception of Shabbat.
