My wife and I moved to Suffern in 2004. It was our first place, and Alan and Rhonda were our first neighbors. I immediately hit off with Alan as we both shared the same hobbies and a lot of the same views. But more importantly, Alan was a great person. So caring and giving. As I write this, I can’t believe it’s been 20 years that I knew him. A proud husband, father, and grandfather. A supporter of law enforcement and an auxiliary police officer in Suffern. Just a great man that will truly be missed and remembered. God Bless you Alan. Keep an eye out for us! Love Jim Ross

This photo is from a lunch we had on 1/30/2024 at Alan's favorite sushi restaurant. It was always great spending time with him hearing about his family and discussing his favorite foods and his latest camera equipment. My first chance encounter with Alan was in the early 1980s when he was a representative for the camera company Minolta and I managed Jersey Camera in Leonia, NJ. Decades later, the tables turned and I was in Sales at Hess Corp and Alan was a contact at customer Arco Management. Initially, we had no recollection of prior contact. Over lunch one day, we eventually started talking about cameras, and the past was uncovered. We went to many lunches, which continued after our retirements. He was truly an incredibly nice man. His company will sorely be missed
