Growing up in the Bronx, after High School he served in the Army during the Korean War. After, he met the love of his life, Rita, and they celebrated 65 years of marriage in February. He loved his family dearly and cherished the times and occasions he spent with them all.
Al retired from the Postal Service after twenty-five years of service and dedicated his next two and a half decades to volunteering and charitable endeavors. He served in numerous roles in his lodge, Wendell Willkie Lodge # 473 Knights of Pythias, where he embraced his brotherhood and dedicated his life to their core belief in Friendship, Charity and Benevolence.
Albert Aboulafia is survived by his wife Rita, daughter and son-in-law Sharon & Steven Oken, son and daughter-in-law David & Nancy Aboulafia, grandchildren Melisa, Adam and Dean, and sisters Penny and Gloria.
