Benjamin (Ben) was born on June 13th, 1999 to Laura and Jan-Erik Stobbe. He was the youngest sibling of three, Isaac (29) and Norma (26) Stobbe.
Growing up, Ben went through the Upper Saddle River school district, graduating from Northern Highlands Regional High School in 2018. He gained admittance to Rutgers Business School for his undergraduate education.
Ben can be remembered as funny, active, social, kind-hearted, and a bit of a rule breaker- known for his great smile and sportsmanship.
Ben was a lover of many sports. Through school, his favorites were basketball, skateboarding, and soccer. He finished high school as the captain of his varsity soccer team and loved watching professional soccer games. Ben also appreciated the arts - he drew, attended many concerts, and was teaching himself guitar. Additionally, Ben had a special bond with animals, especially his family’s cats.
Most recently, Ben was living in Washington D.C. with his brother and his brother’s girlfriend, Avery. He worked at various restaurants and was studying for his personal training certification.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977. Interment will follow at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595.
