Dorothy Forman, 91, passed away on March 24, 2021 in Ridgewood NJ, from complications of Covid-19. Her husband, Murray, predeceased her in 2004. She is survived by her beloved children Rene (Aram) Derewetzky, Lance (Ruth) Forman, and Iris (Jeff) Rogers, as well as her cherished grandchildren Davita Forman (Matteo Salazar), Jared (Meredith) Forman, Matthew Rogers, Alison Rogers, Stefan Derewetzky, and Neva Derewetzky. She leaves behind many doting cousins and her much-loved brother-in-law, Alan Forman. Her dear sister, Gertrude died in 1970.
Graveside service will be held March 26, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Wellwood Cemetery, West Babylon, NY. Please remember Dorothy by looking in on the elders in your life. She was a passionate supporter of National Public Radio (WNYC) and Public Broadcasting Service (WNET).
