Beloved wife of Donald Hirsch, who predeceased her on June 3, 2000.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara, and son-in-law, Rick; her adoring grandson, Daniel; her nieces, Ellen and Carolyn; and her grand-niece, Jennifer.
Edna was born in Brooklyn, NY, on April 19, 1940. She dedicated over 30 years of her career to working in the East Ramapo School District.
Funeral Services will be held at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977, Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mount Golda Cemetery, 500 Old Country Rd, Huntington Station, NY 11746.
Memorial contributions in Edna’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
