Edward Alexander Fagin (12/14/1940-1/9/2024), son of Aaron and Lisl, passed peacefully at his home in Fort Lauderdale on January 9th, 2024. Ed grew up in Flatbush, Brooklyn, and divided his time between New York City, the Hamptons, and Fort Lauderdale with his partner, fashion designer Adrienne Landau. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Steven Fagin, Randi Dixon, and Marc Fagin, as well as his siblings, Jacqui Trager and Sandy Fagin. He was an attorney, venture capitalist, investment banker, and biotech and real estate investor who attended Cornell University and New York University Law School. A passionate and well-traveled businessman, Ed lived a lifetime of fascinating adventures and accumulated a wealth of wisdom about what it takes to be a success, both in business and in life. He was gregarious and generous, always having a funny story to tell or helpful advice to offer. He believed that manifestation was the key to success and happiness. He said, “Life is about experiences, being open, and embracing change, because change is inevitable. Do things. Make things happen. Shake things up. Do more than you’re asked to do. Always push the envelope of what is possible.” He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, of which there were a great many. Please make any charitable donations to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Graveside services for Edward will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, 11:00 AM at Floral Park Cemetery, 104 Deans Rhode Hall Rd, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852.
