

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eileen DePalma, who left us on March 11, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 13, 1943, Eileen was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt. She spent her life dedicated to her family, her work, and her friends.
Eileen was the proud mother of three sons—Michael (wife Maria), Robert (wife Janet), and Brian (wife Cindi) and cherished her role as a grandmother to six: Amanda, Jenna, Logan, Caden, Cole, and Ava. Her family meant everything to her, and she took great joy in watching her children and grandchildren grow and thrive.
Eileen’s career spanned many years, and she truly “did it all” working as a dental assistant, waitress, secretary, and homemaker. She had a kind heart and an unwavering work ethic.
Eileen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Mike, with whom she shared many wonderful years.
A longtime resident of Rockland, Eileen will be remembered as a caring, generous soul who had a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will live on in her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate to have been touched by her kindness.
A celebration of Eileen’s life will be held Thursday March 13, 2025 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street. Spring Valley, NY 10977. Graveside services for Eileen will take place Friday March 14, 2025 11:30 AM at Beth Moses Cemetery, 1500 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11704. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
Eileen will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and compassion will endure forever.
