Gail H. Moggio of Nanuet, New York passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital on May 5, 2021 after a brief illness. She was 82 years old. Gail was born in New York City August 16, 1938 to the late H. Jerry and Rose Day, predeceased by her brother Bruce and granddaughter Karlene McGuigan.
She was a loving mother to her three children and their spouses; Fred Thibault (Martha), Cara McGuigan (Tom), Elaine Hardy (Kyle), and her grand and great grandchildren; Heather, Egan, Gabrielle, and Madeline, 6 step grandchildren, and 12 step great grandchildren.
Gail moved to Rockland County in 1965. After many years of being a stay at home mother she worked as Crisis Intervention Counselor at B.O.C.E.S retiring after 28 years. A community minded person she was a long time Spring Hill Ambulance Volunteer Member, a part of the Rockland County Democratic Committee, Clarkstown Sanitation Committee, she was a Commissioner for the East Spring Valley Fire District for many years prior to becoming Treasurer, and was a vital part of the Rockland County Fire Prevention Committee. Up until the time of her death Gail was an active Real Estate Agent with Howard Hanna Rand Realty in New City, New York. She was a member of the Orangetown Jewish Center. Let us not forget the avid Yankee fan she was.
A graveside service was previously held.
