Irving Sarafan, a resident of Boca Raton, Fl, passed away on November 9, 2014 at the age of 90. Irving was born February 22, 1924 in Paterson, NJ to the late Jacob and Beatrice Sarafan. Irving proudly served in the United States Army during WWII, and later went on to own his own Army Trucks & Supplies store in Spring Valley, NY. Irving his survived by his loving children David (Diann Bernhardt) and Michael (Nancy Porporino) Sarafan, adoring grandchildren Tracy, Randy, Gregory and Adam, and cherished great-grandchildren Benjamin and Sadie. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley and his brother Marvin. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 11:00AM at Congregation Sons of Israel, SV Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY.
