Devoted wife of the late Sidney Goldstein. Loving mother of Jeremy Goldstein (Kerri) and the late Laura Goldstein. Adoring grandmother of Emma, Amber, and Derek. Caring sister of Dr. Gary Rand (Linda).
Born in the Bronx, she attended Hunter College and went on to have a successful teaching career in the New York City School System. She was passionate about her career and teaching children. She met the love of her life Sidney and they were married for over 50 years. Settling in Rockland County in 1985, they raised their family in Bardonia, NY.
Karen loved cooking, shopping, and traveling. A world traveler, Karen traveled across Europe several times. She was an avid reader, and loved watching her favorite show, Judge Judy. She spent plenty of time with friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Graveside services will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, 11:00AM at King Solomon Cemetery, 550 Dwasline Road, Clifton, NJ 07012.
