I am so sorry that Larry has passed. We were camp counselors together in the Summers of 1981 and 1982 and remained friends for years. We didn't speak much, but he and I caught up by phone in April. My very best to his family.

So shocked and saddened to hear of Larry's passing. He has been a very nice neighbor for many years. Always took a moment to stop , say hello or wave with a big smile as he was biking. May the Michaels' family go from strength to strength..
Our sincere condolences

I’d see Larry on the over nights at ABC . Just saw him last week. He’d stop by the edit room where I’d be working. “Hey Richie Rich”
Me , him and Cliff (my Producer) would share funny stories from Ch 5, A place we all worked at .
RIP buddy!

Larry, you may be gone, but you'll never be forgotten . Your texts always brought a smile to my face, and I'll miss our conversations about the old neighborhood and Larry's Pizzeria. Rest in peace, my friend ☺️

I’ve known Larry for nearly 50 years. We worked together at CH5, then at CBS for many years, and later at ABC. Even after I moved to Florida, we stayed in touch and spoke often. He was like a brother to me. I will miss him dearly...

Larry was a wonderful, enthusiastic person with whom I greatly enjoyed working. He helped me out immensely as an AD at Channel 2 News and he was always reliable and collaborative. I will miss his good nature and friendship.

To the Michael’s Family,

I am extremely sad to hear this news. I met Larry in high school, and we still got together a couple of times a year after 50+ years. My condolences to Cindi, Matthew, Mark, and Samantha.

Larry and I worked together at CBS. He was always smiling, full of good cheer and had lots of Brooklyn stories. A truley nice man. I am so saddened to hear of his passing.

Our most sincere condolences to the Michaels family. We will miss talking to Larry when he’d stop on one of his frequent bike rides past our house. He was certainly a neighborhood fixture. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
