Mr. Louis Katz of Chestnut Ridge, NY, passed away on Friday January 10, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. Mr. Katz was born July 27, 1929, in Brooklyn, NY. He was 84 years old. Funeral services will be held on Sunday January 12, 2014 at 10:45 AM at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977, with Rabbis Craig Scheff and Rabbi Paula Mack-Drill officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Katz’s memory to the Orangetown Jewish Center 8 Independence Avenue, Orangeburg, NY 10962.
