Melvin Rabin, born April 22nd, 1936, a resident of Boca Raton and Wanaque, NJ, died September 27th 2013 at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City, NY. Mel was a retired guidance counselor and intermediate school administrator for the NYC Board of Education. He is survived by his wife Linda, his daughter Lisa Avla of Pomona, NY, his son Adam Rabin of Clarksburg, MD and his adored grandchildren Zachary, Isaac and Maya. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 30th, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Hellman Memorial Chapels 15 State Street Spring Valley, NY. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
