Meryl was great part of the fabric that made up the Little Tor neighborhood of the 70s and 80s. We shared the love of live music, not only the Dead but Pink Floyd, Hot Tuna, Jefferson Airplane and met at many Dead shows in the 80s and if I recall correctly even traveled together in the Dead Mobile (Ford T Bird).  We caught up a few years back when selling 4 Ruth and talked about some of the antics that used to go on in the neighborhood. It was a wonderful place to grow up and great neighbors to share the experience with.

Meryl was such a lovely Woman. Alexis and I always enjoyed seeing her outside sitting on her deck as she was our neighbor. Rest Easy Meryl, you will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

Meryl and her whole family were such a big part of my younger years. From Hebrew school to camp, hanging out at Gail Drive,  visiting me at Hampshire, to Israel,  and Meryl as Maid of Honor there,  at my first wedding, and then back to life in the Hudson Valley, with plenty of concerts and fun adventures  in between, I will always treasure those memories. 

My heart is with Marissa and Becca,  their three precious daughters, Sal, and Hezi.  My heartfelt condolences to all who loved her. 

"Say not in grief  'she is no more',  but in thankfulness that she was."

Dear family members of Meryl, I am so sorry to the hear of the passing of your mom. Meryl was my roommate at Northeastern University in 1979.  She was a free spirit, a head turner with all that hair that floated along with her and just a friend to me.  While we roomed together I gave her a nickname” kinky” because she was  into having fun and enjoying herself.  Thursday was the start of her fun time in school and she kept it going until Sunday afternoon when she hit the books. Our time at White Hall was an experience 🙄
