Milena Lipkin, 78, sadly passed away on May 27, 2025. She was the loving mother of Jana (Andrew) Hertz and Sloane (Laura) Lipkin. And she was lovingly obsessed with her three beautiful grandchildren: Joshua and Zander Hertz, and Skylar Lipkin. She loved those kids more than anything in the world.
She spent most of her life in New City, NY where she was an incredible mother who volunteered her time with every organization, school, or activity in which her children were involved. She raised her children in a fun home the was always overflowing with love. That love came in the form of many hugs, lots of delicious food, and her specialty sweet…Mondel bread!
She welcomed in friends and family because she just really cared and wanted to spend quality time with loved ones. And it was always fun to hear her views on life through her prism and how she made the mundane seem oddly entertaining.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jules Lipkin, in 1976. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she is survived by her sister Shari Schwarz along with her three daughters and 8 grandchildren.
She was a loving, kind and unselfish individual who made the world a better place, made the lives of all she touched better and she will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 11:00 AM at Hellman Memorial Chapel, followed by interment at Glenville Cemetery.
