Millicent Shapiro of Tappan, NY (known to her loved ones a “Milli”) passed away on the 19th of October 2013. The wife of Dr. Marvin Shapiro, founder of Rockland Neurological Associates of Rockland County, she is survived by her loving and devoted Husband of 65 Years and their son, Michael and his wife, Cindy. An older son, Howard, died in 2002. Survivors also include two loving grand-daughters, Bree and Quinn, their mother, Michelle, and a host of loving extended family members. Mrs Shapiro graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a degree in Psychology and studied art therapy at The New School for Social research.Donations can be directed to The Rockland County Hospice Society.
