

Nancy Hanft Tieger, of Suffern, New York, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 3, 1946 to Ruth and Isidore Hanft. Nancy leaves behind her devoted daughters, Mindy Quinn (Michael) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Lori Kolin (fiancé Thomas Patrick) of Maywood, New Jersey. She also leaves her sister, Carol Watson of Montrose, Colorado and all of their families. Nancy was an adoring grandmother to her two grandsons, Kevin and Jack. A loyal employee to Rockland Orthopedics for more than fifteen years, Nancy made many heartfelt connections with staff and patients. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, New York 10977 at 9:00a.m. with burial to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery located at 7800 Myrtle Avenue, Glendale, New York 11385. The family will be sitting Shiva on Tuesday at Nancy’s home in Suffern, New York. As a genuine caregiver, Nancy donated all of her organs upon her passing. Memorial donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956.
